The initial idea for this font came to me when a friend asked me to create a logo for a sports team that he was forming. Since it was a martial arts competitive sport, it required bold and striking lettering in order to reflect that particular quality. When the logo was finished, I was really pleased with the letters so I decided to create an entire font.

Taurunum is made with the intention to be used for display design (logos, posters, etc.), and combining the weights should give the best results.
